Each year, Canada is home to more and more vegans and vegetarians, especially as more Canadians consider the environmental repercussions of the meat and dairy industries, as well as other health benefits. What does that mean for you? Adding these special foods such as gluten-free, plant-based items etc. to your menu is going to attract more customers. 

Here are some of our favourite ways to keep vegan and vegetarian customers coming back for more:

  • Plant-Based Cheese, Please! Cheese has been re-created using plant-based ingredients including soy, nuts, and even potatoes and carrots. And the latest is Aquafaba, which is the liquid in cans of chickpeas. The perk: it melts when heated much like dairy-based cheese.
